So I just got my new PC with an i5 6600k (4x3.5 GHz) Skylake, 16Gb 3000MHz DDR4 RAM and the MSI GTX 1070.
I don't know whether my expectations are just too high, but there are a few things:
For example, when I run The Witcher 3 at 3440x1440 and on highest settings, I experience some frame rate drops, its not too bad but its just not really smooth when I look at big open spaces. I don't know whether this is normal or whether there might be something wrong with my GPU.
Also, when I play Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3, I get some flickering and the edges of the textures and objects are pixely and white, which is really annoying to look at. And with Battlefield Hardline, I get pop-in (textures on the floor just suddenly appear as is come closer) and there is quite a bit of flickering.
I don't know whether this is normal and whether this is because of the game or because of my GPU.
It is worth mentioning that this problem doesn't (or only on a very minor/almost unnoticable scale) appear on the witcher 3.
Can anyone help me with any of this?
