Got a weird one, was installing red faction armageddon which I got free as part of my bundle, got the BSOD and when I got back into windows said error appears

So far i've tried

Turning firewalls off to see if that was the problem

Uninstalled steam and re installed

Repaired steam

System restored

deleted the clientregistery.bob file in the steam directory.

Still no luck :(

Any ideas? cheers

PS if in the wrong section please move.

I can't get on the steam homepage at the moment, it may be a more universal problem. Not sure what the BSOD is about though. Maybe check your OC again.

Yeah, I turned pll overvoltage off so my board didn't do the dual boot thing, but i'll see what happens.

I can get into steam fine on my macbook pro :(

Yeah keeps saying I cant connect, but when I was on my mac it said to log out as my username was being used on another machine

So I logged out my Mac, then as soon as I tried the PC it said could not connect, but it obviously can as it was able to tell me I was logged in, in another location.

I hate computers sometimes.

Got it sorted. Noting a clean install on windows won't fix. Also reset my router which seemed to do the job.

mine seems to have developed a habit of when booting up, it loads to say.. "you have never used this account on this pc before"... then i log in and all my games are installed.. as clearly.. i have used it before :s

Hmm Steam will connect but when i get to the store it gets the normal failed to load page for steam :/ really annoying.

My ISP is also BT!

having the same problem, can't get on the store, or see my profile, steam boots with windows all logged in, can see my games and play them, but it won't let me in the community area, keeps asking for log in details ( weird i am logged in? even see all my friends :S )
