Could somebody make me a basic Skyrim mod?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anybody could make me a (what I think should be) very basic Skyrim mod?

What I want to achieve is the actor class for mannequins being completely deleted. I don't mind if this is done by deleting all mannequin instances, or by replacing all mannequins with... I dont know, chicken pies, or cabbages.

I'm not sure how to approach this, but I'm sure it will be very easy for some of you. :)

They creep me out. There is just something about them. My brain seems to have a problem with them, and throws them in with the weeping angels. Especially because of the glitch which causes them to move!!! :p

Inb4 someone makes them spiders, It really shouldnt be too hard, i assume it is the ones you buy with house upgrades in the larger houses?
 
I was hoping to remove them from the game entirely, so that even when I get a mod with a mannequin in it, it just isn't there. :p

At the moment I just disable and markfordelete, but if I do that I still get the "activate mannequin" prompt when I look at the empty space where it used to be.

maybe you can reskin them to something more pleasant :p
 
Your only the second person I've heard of with a phobia of mannequins/statues - my cousin discovered he did when we were half way around madame tussauds :S
 
I don't have a phobia of them as such, but I couldn't have one in the house... :p

I don't avoid shops because of the mannequins.

Unless perhaps I was alone in the dark...

The mannequins don't actually do that, some modding was involved in order to make that video. :p

Thats a weird one, I have an irrational fear of large spiders, but the ones in Skryim don't bother me. :p
 
Hmm... change the Mannequin Race for something else... lets see... would a barrel suit?

Quick and dirty mashup.. replaced the meshes. No guarantees, may cause CTD's. So TEST TEST and TEST again. Should be safe to remove as it's simply a single record overwrite, removing it should restore things to normal.

Not sure what happens if the scripts fail to fire and it attempts to go walkabout... a moving barrel could be even more unnerving than a mannequin :p

Theres actually a mod especially for arachnophobes that turns them into bears. They don't have the correct animations so they don't move properly, but still. Strange but true.
