Hi hello
Im a novice here and would like some help please.
This is my set up below and i was wondering if i can and if so how and how much OC this setup?
Im not lazy dont know anything about and id rather even pay someone to help me to OC it correctly rather than me breaking it or burning the whole thing. I hope. That does make some sense. Appreciate for any advice/help if anyone would be willing to do it for money please Say it im happy to pay

Thank You very much and have a nice day

They can go up to 5 Ghz, 4.5 all-core should be pretty easy. All you have to do is increase the multiplier, because K models are unlocked.

Download something to check power consumption and temperatures.
Download a bench test like Prime 95 to check if there are errors.

If it doesn't boot or the board resets, then you went waaaaay too high.
If it boots, but makes a few errors in bench tests, increase the CPU voltage slightly.
Repeat.

I'd suggest 1.3 volts, 1.35 volts at maximum.

Sometimes it helps to disable the power saving stuff, but personally I'd prefer to make it stable enabled.

I wouldn't bother overclocking the graphics card, it's really new. Lifting the CPU up to 4.5+ Ghz will be more worthwhile.

Im back could You tell me please if my cpu is iddling at 40-50 degrees and when i run a stress test it goes to 100 degrees. This is without any OC. What is the issue? Would that be the gamemax iceberg water cooling system?

Which test are you using? Prime im guessing?

CPUID HWMonitor and RealBench. Im not to technical and would rather fix this issue now.

I would wait till zen 3 arrives then sell the motherboard + CPU and buy a 4700X + X570/B550.
Fair play but i dont want to wait till september i play warzone and im addicted soi would prefer to fix this now if You get me, i havent played now 2/3 days and im going ape :/
All i do is work eat gym and play warzone:D

Do you get stutter/frame drops in warzone? Maybe have a look at this vid.

4/4threads does struggle in games now so upgrading to a higher core count would be beneficial going forward. How much budget would you have for a new mob/CPU since that's all you would likely need + a new CPU cooler, what Rez/Hz is your monitor?

Have you made sure the sticker is removed from the cooler. Maybe try reseating the cpu cooler and repasting?, make sure the fans are on the right headers on the motherboard for the aio so that they ramp. Up high when hot?
Maybe try lowering the cpu voltage in the bios to reduce heat?
Just throwing these out there as I don't know how you are set up

what is the problem that is stopping you from playing warzone?

I think you have a problem caused by overheating and overclocking the cpu isnt going to help that at all.....we need to know what temps the cpu and gpu are hitting during gaming.

Afterburner gives all the info and makes some pretty graphs too :)

No its not that Man doesnt matter what are my settings high normal or low its **** and im pretty much sure its bcos my fan doesnt go on like it should, i5 should OC to around 5ghz ive read many reviews that it should Pull my game with the gfx card but it doesnt and im trying to find out why.

My settings whether high/normal/low its maybe 10 fps different. But when i run stress test on 3.8ghz or 4.5 when oclocked its the same 100 degrees. So my question is can i somehow fix the water cooling maybe the is a problem with the settings or something else i have setted up wrong.

I dont really want to spend more money on new cpu if i can Save this one. My screen is 144hz and i have setted everything that way. I went thru my settings over and over few Times but that didnt change anything at all. I get more fps when i lower details but my te ps are still high in around 100degrees.

Please help

Heyy stress test or while game on temos go up to 100 degrees and i know this is not normal at all.

Also when iddling in Windows its alrdy on 50 degrees instead of 20. So my guess is something wrong with cooling.

If your CPU is reaching 100 degrees at stock in games then the cooler is almost certainly broken. It shouldn't do that, even with no case airflow. Is the pump and the fans still working?

Idk

Where is the pump but the fans are working, im sorry for silly question... ‍♂️♂️♂️

If cpu is hitting those temps when gaming then it will be throttling to protect itself and that will cause severe performance issues.

Warzone/mw4 is cpu hungry if only 4 cores...played briefly on my old cpu which was a 2600k at 4.3GHz and it was maxing out all cores.

Was it all running nice and playable previously?

Gpu is more than capable as you no doubt already know...run mine all maxed out in mw4 just rtx off and i get constant 100FPS at 1440p and about 60FPS at 4k...havent tried 1080p

Fans are working hut dunno how to check the pump, if i touch the little pipes i can feel water going thru. But im. Thinking now maybe fan arent cooling it Quick enough?

Okay i have decided im tired of trying what can i mathc this x570 with ? I meant what cpu? I might have a budget around 500-600 to spend. So i guess i need You to help me what cpu can i match with that now, and what would You suggest where to sell my current main board and cpu and for what money?

Thank You very much for all the help
