All over.
Hi, I bought the Geil Ultra DDR 6400 Cas 4 kit from OCuk this week. On Cpu-z and everest it's saying that the memory is DDR2 667 PC5300 RAM. Why does it say that? Does it mean that the memory modules I have aren't PC6400 but 5300??

Could this be why I can't change my timings to 4-4-4-12 from 5-5-5-15, without the computer rebooting on me?

What should I do?

Many thanks.

Just tried single sticks and swapping around with them to avail.

Do you want me to take a picture of my BIOS?

2.00 is the lowest it goes.

All those settings are as it's stable right now.

When I drop the timings, I increased the Vcore to 1.38V, increase the VDIMM 0.425V to 2.29V.

I also increase the MCH another 0.05V.

Still it's not stable.

I guess there won't be that much difference between CAS 5 and CAS 4 in normal computer usage/games. I think I might try the F3B BIOS. Just need to know where I can download it.

Ok, after installing the F3B BIOS, I've loaded up CPU-z and my CAS latency is now set at 3. With timing of 3-5-5-15.

I'm just testing the RAM now.

Should I put it back to 5-5-5-15 or something else?

Edit: CPU-z says it's at 3-5-5-15. But the BIOS says it's 5-5-5-15. :/
