Hi there and I hope you all had a merry Christmas this year. I'm just about to order myself an upgrade or two to the rig in my sig. I'm keeping the 2x 250gb Hard Drives as well as the Corsair HX 620W (just bought it for this PC) as well as the case and speakers.
I'm looking at what is the better buy concerning the RAM I've selected. The better overclocking potential will win it as I'll be going for a 45nm CPU when they are released in Dual Core flavour.
I use a ViewSonic P225f Series CRT for gaming with a resolution of 2048x1536 @ 79Hrtz so that is why I have opted for the GTX. I'm hoping the IP35 Pro will be better for overclocking than the standard IP35 and especially more so for Penryn Dual Core.
Has anyone got any advice they'd like to give as I was meant to be buying this in January with time to research but I got the sudden urge after seeing the GTX and the IP35 Pro take a little dive in price. Will the cooler do me for Penryn or is there a better air cooler I could get?.
I only added the DVD writer as I gave my Pioneer 112 away on christmas day to a friend for his kids PC.
Thank you for any replies given.
