Hey folks!

I've just ordered a PS3 250GB but I really want Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box, I can get it for about £17 but just wondered, if someone could log onto their PSN for me and check how much it is to download off PSN Store?

Many thanks,!

Have a look at this post in the PSN store thread
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=15579013&postcount=2115

Burnout Paradise (was – £24.99/€29.99 now – £13.99/€17.99)
Burnout Paradise – Big Surf Bundle (was – £27.99/€34.99 now – £19.99/€24.99)

Im not 100% sure but the ultimate box doesnt come with big surf island, depending on how much that DLC is it may be worth checking out that on PSN. Id check first before comitting to either.

Thanks Billy / Msmalls appreciate that :)

It's definately worth me buying it from the PSN when the PS3 arrives, as it's £17 just for ultimate box without big surf if bought standalone from the shops :)

Thanks again! :)

I would argue in favour of going for the disc version:

PSN
Burnout: Paradise - £13.99
Burnout: Paradise - Big Surf Bundle Pack - £19.99

Big Surf Island expansion - £9.99
Party Pack Expansion - £7.99

Disc Version
Burnout: Paradise - £9.99 + £1.94 p&p (price will likely fluctuate according to market conditions)
Burnout: Paradise - Ultimate (includes Party Pack) - £14.99 + £1.94 p&p (price will likely fluctuate according to market conditions)

Personally, I would buy the disc ultimate bundle then fork out for the big surf expansion, total cost of £26.92 (compared to £19.99 + £7.99 = £27.98 for 100% PSN version) and you will then have the option of selling the disc version on in a few months / years (probably not for much though) rather than being tied to a 100% download version. Of course, the maths works out in your favour for the PSN version if you don't want the party pack expansion of if you don't sell your disc version when the next Burnout game comes out.

I bought the Ulimate one from Game for £20 new atleast 3 months ago so surely its either the same price or cheaper? :) Good game!

Quick search reveals that it's still £19.99 or 17.99 in a lot of stores.

Ohhhh sorry I misread, I thought the £19.99 PSN was everything, the game inc expansion etc.

:(

In which case yeah, it's circa £18 for the ultimate box so I guess thats now looking more favourable :D

Silly question but I take it it still has voice etc online? As I used to love it on the 360 chatting to my mate playing and also loadsa different people all chatting and driving round!

nooooooooooooooooooo I set my PS3 up last night, noticed burnout paradise & big surf bundle for £19.99 valid until the 8th.

Stupidly, left it til tonight after work to buy and its back at £27.99 :( :( :(

I thought it would INCLUDE the 8th :( As last night was too late to start the download as it's a fair old size :'(

If you use the Shut Down System option on the far left of the XMB, it'll give you an option to allow any pending downloads/installs to complete before it turns itself off.

:( I guess its my fault for not thinking of that one I didnt start the download as I didn't know if it would do that:(

I'll just have to pay the extra £8! Not the end of the world but would have preferred to have missed the sale deal altogether and not know of it lol

You also could have purchased it and just paused the download until you were ready...

Sorry, not trying to rub salt in the wounds!
