If the answer to the above is yes then we could get a rough idea how much difference HBM2 memory makes.

If a GP100 card and a GP102 Pascal Titan were run at the same core clockspeed using the same software, we could do a % calculation for the difference in the number of cores to give us an idea what difference HBM2 was making over GDDR5X.

Is the above at all possible ?

Linus had a video with a tesla card comparing it to a titan x ran about the same as the titan x. Don't see why the gp100 would be any different, though i think i read the cards don't have any display inputs on them?

Maybe. I think the difficult thing would be narrowing down differences in the drivers. Professional graphics cards have a different purpose than gaming cards. They emphasize getting everything perfectly accurate in the image because the end result is going to be recorded (whether static or animated) so it's worth taking the time, whilst a gaming card goes "moar fps now!". Well, at least to greater degree.

At least that used to be the case some years back, I presume the same still holds true. So drivers for a pro card like this are actually different from regular gaming drivers.
