Could you live without intercourse?

Fair enough.

When I said
Plenty of women say that, and yet in my personal experience most never follow that (even those from cultures who are fairly reserved - ie East Asian).
I wasn't actually talking about pure one night stands, but was talking about girls sleeping with someone before a proper relationship is established but then still seeing the person for a few weeks or months afterwards.

Again, I can only speak from personal experience though

Hey I wasn't getting stroppy or anything, my attitude when it comes to sex is pretty laid back (pardon the pun) :)

Im also one who can separate the emotion from sex and not fall for someone just because I have been to bed with them, I still have to "want" them, just not necessarily for anything long term.

Maybe its why i've spent so much of my life single, cos im odd :D

if it was due to an overwhelming medical reason ( home care for a seriously disabled OH ) then yes, stay faithful as well?, sorry no, ide have to slink off & play hide the sausage from time to time, otherwise ide be a raging ball of frustration on a hair trigger.

If your worry is a build up of sexual frustration, what's wrong with Mrs Palm and a box of Kleenex?

If you bin someone simply over a low sex drive, then yes that seems a lot like you're using woman purely for sex. Your current girlfriend for example, what would you do if she wasn't up for sex every day? Or her sex drive started to slowly diminish?

How old are you? You seem to have a seriously idealistic, thus unrealistic, view of life and relationships.

No-ones saying they will "bin someone" (I think I last used that term when I was 15), but that sex is an essential part of a relationship as long as one partner has a sex drive. It is a genetic drive, in our DNA, and the longer you ignore it then the worse it will get. Fact.

I've often been the same, and I think it's the best way to be. There's are people you have sex with solely for the pleasure of it, and those that you have sex with for deeper meaning. It's important to be able to seperate the two.

Twenty eight but whats my age got to do with anything? Idealistic? I'm entitled to have my own personal beliefs/morals just like anyone else, I honestly couldn't give a **** what you or others think. Also please stop saying Fact, as you're only giving an opinion.
