Could you please advise on this upgrade listed?

Hi i have decided to upgrade and will be using either my 2 BFG 280s or my 3 BFG 260s until the 5890 (5870x2) is out and nvidia release there new card and see which takes my fancy. I am using it purely for heavy gaming and some surfing over 3 screens with multiple windows open. Anyone with these setups or similar and any advise appreciated. It will all be watecooled as my current system is. 1 more thing i am gaming at 5040x1050, however i will be going 2 the full 3x1920x1200 with eyefinity if i go for the 5890. Also the price difference isnt a concern i just want the best performance which also saves me from an upgrade for a while.

If I was you, I would scrap the Gt Dominator ram. I would use 1600mhz Ram as it gives you headroom to overclock. And if you look at the mobo's ram, to run 2000mhz, you will need to overclock the cpu quite heavily.
Depending on what you are doing, if you are gaming i would go for the p55 way, as its better for performance per buck.
Like i said, scrap the memory and start with 1600mhz memory.
 
What ram would you choose then and does it mean if i went for the 2000mhz then i couldnt get as good a clock then? The pc is used mainly for gaming but i was thinking of going I7 due to future upgradability. Would i still be better going I5 or is I7 more future proof?
