Couldn’t decide so I got both

Looking forward to the BSB2 review. My credit card is currently burning due to the purchase of components for a new PC, but I am seriously considering a BSB2 once they're out and the reviews confirm it's as good as it first appears. Not really looking forward to going back to Index controllers though.

I dont use the controllers as i use it solely for sim racing

i have a quest 3 for moving about VR (which i rarely do it's mainly used to watch YouTube/Movies in bed now)

i love the Q3 smaller form factor over the Q1.
and i often play plugged in to power so its not a huge differance for me poentially to get a BSB2 comared to deckard (details pending). which i think is going to be likely once some spare capital comes in. or both...
 
Agreed, I'm lucky, I consider myself as having a not too bad experience with Pimax comparing it to the things I've read (and I'm easy to please tbh I think) but I still had issues with the headset and support and broken promises :( if the Super was guaranteed to be faultless for a decent length of time and support was guaranteed to be good then wow, 50 PPD and quite big fov. Though I suspect even a 5090 will struggle with it in some games.

if it didn't need base stations and controllers I would get one! itching to get a new oled vr headset, but holding fire atm... i think the big screen will be the one you keep
 
I kept my Index setup because there were a bunch of SteamVR tracking based headsets coming. Unfortunately all so far have been found wanting according to the various reviews and user feedback. Ironically it was the BSB1 that I was originally most interested in.

The BSB2 seems to have fixed all the issues that put me off from buying the first one. So fingers crossed the proper reviews and user feedback are good on this.
