just curious... since im a single person... why do i have to pay one and a half peoples council tax??? i.e. the "single persons discount" on council tax = 25% off. why isnt it a fair 50% as i am only 1 person.
and another thing... i want to buy a house, how the hell am i supposed to do that? i can barely afford to rent a council property in the arse end of nowhere (midlands) let alone buy my own place

Well Mr brown, regardless of our nice strong economy, let me tell you it sucks to be single. you get the feeling that the system in general is geared towards couples and familys, but what about me ??? what about all the other single people in there early 20`s struggling to pay the gas bill let alone pay the rent or buy a house
