Counter Stike - Source requiered specs

I've got a friend who claims to be able to play Counter Strike - Source on a 7300LE with all details max, and at his 19" widescreen TFTs native resolution. Has he been smoking something?

Maybe not. Depends if he's running any AA ?

What's the rest of his spec?

Probably not... the rest of his spec is Pentium D 820 and 2gb DDR2 ram.

Possible. I can run CSS on full/1280x1024 with my 6600GT and I get about 40 fps, I get about 60 fps if I turn things down. With a spec like that I don't see why not?

Get him to do a net_graph 3 or cl_showfps 1 and give us his FPS.

You can play it on full on a 9200.

Doesn't mean it'll have a good framerate though. Or at least I'd be happy with. CS needs at least a 60fps solid framerate for me.

My uber PC can do run it maxed out @ 2560x1200!

/looks at framerate (0.5fps)

2.0 GHZ
512mb ram
geforce mx400
