Counter Strike Connection Issues (BT Homehub)

Hi, I've been trying for the last few hours to get some CCS in with my son but neither of us can join each others games.

We don't seem to have any problems individually joining games but can't connect to each other.

I did some googling about, followed a guide and attempted to make a CS listen server and port forward (I'm not sure if I did it right), but still no joy.

I've put everything back to how it was.

My setup is as follows :

BT Home Hub (V3.0)
Me - Laptop connected wirelessly
Son - PC also connected wirelessly

Can't you make your own server then click on the LAN tab to join? Does the server show up at all?

That's what I am trying (making my own server) but clicking on Lan yields the same results - nothing shown.

I've tried inputting the Ip address manually but get the same response "Server not responding".

probably a firewall issue, try disable your windows firewall for the meantime and see it works.
