Could we just get a bit of clarification on these 2 points? Slightly contradicting.. :confused:
 
you get entered into the giveaway by buying a qualifying product.

due to UK competition laws, we have to offer an alternative no purchase entry method also.

Nope, as if there wasn't a free entry alternative then it would be considered a form of lottery, which is illegal.

On topic....jumped in the thread the moment i spotted CS:GO at in the title, bitterly disappointed though :( was hoping for a standard competition giveaway, can't be bothered writing in and certainly don't want those tacky headphones .... (:p) ah well

This is pretty much how I feel. Ah well, can't really complain. It's something for nothing. Well... it almost is.
 
Tacky headphones? read the reviews.... cant go wrong for under £40. Obviously if money was no object i would pay £150 for the wireless logitech jobbies but im saving for my summer build!! ;)

they aren't tacky at all. they are really well built in fairness. If my Siberia V2s died, I would be buying a pair of Plantronics 380s to use with my sound card, at least until i could buy a very high end headset to replace it.

don't forget that the Plantronics brand is a market leader in telecommunications. they design headsets for people who's job it is to wear a headset.
 
Rjkoneil, as their usb can you plug these into the ps3. I cant find a definitve answer (maybe as their so new) would be handy if they did work for the ps3 with the mic. Even if 7.1 didnt work on the ps3.

there was a mention of it on the main thread in this deals forum.

a user tried it out and it worked from what I recall. not 100% sure though
