Thought this might be the best place to ask this, if not my apologies. I've installed CS: Go on my laptop but the performance is just dreadful.
It's a GT635m with i7-3632qm, I know the GT635 is a weak card but it's not that weak for something like CS GO! Notebookcheck benches have it running at 100fps at similar settings...or 170fps at 1024x768 all low. I see people on youtube running at 720p medium and getting 100fps as well. If I set it to those settings it's about 45-50fps.
I have tried different drivers but it hasn't made any difference. Other games are fine - running Black Ops 2 as well and that is running as it should be (1280x800 medium) just fine.
Any ideas? I haven't played it in ages so maybe updates have caused this, but I've tried all the usual solutions like different drivers, launch commands telling it to use all threads, etc.
