For a public server go to www.killercreation.co.uk and get a 66tick server. If its for matches and you want the best server available go to www.game-zero.com game zero do the best servers in the uk imo as many of the top UK teams i play with have servers off game zero. Dont bother with other companys and resellers. Those are game zero would be the only one i consider. And the IRC and MSN support is great and the guy is pretty nice too ;).
 
you guys are quoting kinda high quotes? Why do you pay that sort of money :/

Sure, mines from a "new" company, but my mate (co-founder of clan) knows the guy so its ok. Also probably THE best server I have played on. Also, I'm paying nearly half what some of you lot seem to, just seems mind boggleing to me :confused:

If you know what your doing in the world, things become cheap :)

for instance, i have a 100tick UK (I avg a 9 ping) 16man source server, branded. and a 16man ts2 server. for 15quid (ts2 is free, but thats 'cus I advertise for a radio station). anyhoo, on killer creation that comes to 35.49. :eek: Sure we haggled the price down (cmon, it was christmas), but still only saved 4quid from normal prices.

Support wise the guy is on xfire 24/7, and does anything as soonas he can (ie, installed mani and eventscripts in about 15mins after id generally asked about it)

Also my experince with "the big names" aint good, beef messed my old clans £100 a month dedi box around SO much. And a jolt server i had was the worst standalone server I have bought.

I just cant see the point in paying double/triple for the same/better :P


TIP: try find an american company with uk based servers [gameservers.com] doller to pound is cheap ;)

No wonder I didn't know what some of you were talking about with GameServers, just realised it used to be ClanServers when I was with them. Agreed, excellent servers and not very expensive either. Made any alterations I couldn't do from rcon and FTP instantly for me with no questions asked.

Would get in quickly though as their London servers availability doesn't seem to last long!
 
My clan sponsors are VERY good servers though imo, not jsut saying this because they sponsor us...

The server they provided us with is very nice, always got perfect reg and the ticks never drop dramasticly, only the odd 95tick here and there under heavy usage.

were looking at about £120 for 6 months and thats for a 18man, dont need it to be 100tick, 66 is adaqeut

were looking at £22 for the following deal...

- 16 man 66tick (public) &
- 12 man 100tick (private) &
- 35 man TS server &
- webhosting space

and all you get is a 12 man 100tick

We get all the other pap aswell, like webhosting, vent, ts, blahblahblah.

But yes, we went for reliability over anything else.

We _know_ inetgaming are good, so we stuck with them.

And ye it was good for 20 quid :)
