The sky was awesome last night, maybe I'll add my shots if you don't mind (don't want to hijack you thread!)

Nice shots, shame the tree in #2 isn't totally sharp, I get those edge effects sometimes too.

I think the edge effect robertgilbert is referring to is from the long shutter time and the tree moving in the wind?? I get the same, can't be helped, and sometimes I think adds to the effect

Might of been worthwhile taking 2 exsposures one for the sky one for the ground and merging them in photoshop. The silhouettes dont really work to be honest, nice colours though.

I did the silhouettes to keep the focus on the sky rather than anything else but yea, moments gone now, would have been nice to get an HDR pic lol.
