i tried to search but theres not many threads on neon string so hopefuly this hasnt come up before. basicaly, the idea i had was to get a PSU and use black cable sleeving on it, which i noticed on some sites with detail pictures is like a sort of mesh of nylon, so i though, would it be possible to run neon string along with each group of wires (proberly not the smaller connectors like fan connectors, proberly jsut to each 4pin molex and the mobo connector) and then put the sleeving over it.
Would the string be bright enough to show through the sleeving, to create a sort of glowing power cables? also, would the thick power wires just block the neon string so much that it wont be visible?
my second question is about the WD Raptor X, is there any pictures of anyone using this in their case? and is there any cases where this hdd would be easily visable through a window on the case?, as most cases ive seen would make the hdd hidden and the window on the hdd pointless. my other question to do with this hdd is wether it would be possibly to get a strobe light that flashes in time with the hdd, so it appears as if the hdd isnt moving when you look at it?
