1. I keep hearing about Apple's new cloud storage. How much are you allowed per user? and can you pay for more? Would it let me store all my TV programmes in the cloud and watch it either through my Apple TV or my iPad wherever I am?

2. How good do the HD downloads actually look on the iPad retina display and how do they look when transferred via airplay to Apple TV?

Thanks.

Hey :)

1. All users get 5GB for free, and you can then expand it further, as below...

However, iCloud includes space for your settings, and others bits and pieces - It isn't for storing TV Programmes. All TV Programmes you buy through iTunes are automatically in the iCloud for you, so you can order a TV show on your Mac or Apple TV at home, and then download it on your iPad while you're on the train for example.

If you bought the TV Programmes elsewhere, you're a little stuck I'm afraid...

2. I haven't bought any films or TV programmes from iTunes before, so I can't comment on the quality. However, I have watched a 720p film on my iPad, and it's fantastic :) I don't have Apple TV, so can't comment on the quality, but I imagine it'd be fine.

iCloud is expensive for what you get. If you want storage I'd look elsewhere.

HD content on the retina iPad looks nice, but it's not worth it long term IMO. I have HD season passes for iTunes content and I always download the SD versions. It's not THAT great and I'd rather have the space.
