Great shots. First two are stunning!!

Something not quite right with the HDR processing on the first two but I'd imaging it's easily fixable (either the water is too light or ther sky is too dark).

:)

#2 does it for me, I would clone out what can only be described as 2 black specs in the sky, obviously a bird or a plane far away. I would also probably clone out the cranes, ugly things.

Nice shots though :)

First two are my favourites. They've been done a lot already but they've come out nicely but not brilliantly. I think the HDR is a little overdone. It has it's place but everyones going a bit mad with it at the moment. A bit more subtlety on the processing there and I think you'll hve really good shots. EDIT - One more thing...I think you can afford to crop the top 1/4 of the 2nd shot. I don't think the sky above the cloud adds anything so the tighter crop should help.

What he said!

The 2nd one is brilliant :)

First two shots are fantastic. Only thing I would have changed is a longer exposure to blur the people. Just a personal preference, because I like people being motion blurred to give the idea of movement.

would have loved to see the 1st two an non (or less so) hdr shots. Its agreat effect but I think its takien away impact from the photo instead of making it a better shot.

2 is my favourite...but why the HDR?!!!

thanks for all the positive comments guys! The first 2 are HDR as everyone says but especially the first one is very subtle and IMO is not overdone - it's very close to the original, but since it was taken (like all 3) just before sunset the image was slightly overcast.

On the second I used Photomatrix again, but set the WB to a cooler temp to enhance the glass, then used auto level + colour is PS to correct the blueness in the image.

The nice thing about working in the old city (Blackfriars) is that when the days get longer i can leave the office and have a hour+ of good light for images :)

The first two are great, good use of HDR. The 3rd just seems flat. The first two have places to lead your eyes to were as the third its like *wumph* block :)

Shocking photos, shockingly stunning, I want of those £600 lenses...

No's 1+2 are my favorites. The detail on the buildings in shot No2 on the far right is brilliant :)
