both are really is it worth the hassle to downclock them at all
been running the [email protected] using 1.26250v and am now thinking to knock it down to stock settings at 1.1v lower if I can get it. is it gonna make much difference to my electric usage, maybe I could disable crossfire on the 3870x2.
This machine only really surfs and plays facebook games.
The other machine Q9650 is running at 4ghz but only playing GTR2 really, now was thinking of backing that one down abit, but before backing down down the cpu only use what it needs if you know what I mean if the game dont need much CPU it doesn't matter whether it is 3ghz or 4ghz.
Hope I have explained myself correctly but with the price of power these days dont see the point of running more than I need.
