Couple of problems with Windows 7

ok I cant change the cleartype settings for some reason....

I get system32\Dwrite.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.....

and when running Windows Experience Index - it stops at error :

WEI could not be computed .... could not measure video playback performance.

rig is in my sig - and am running Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

any ideas ?

Np , what anti-virus software do you have?

There was an issue with Kaspersky and the WEI IIRC. Will look for the link now...

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010

will disable it and try again.

nope - exited and tried again. Same problem.

Uninstall Kaspersky try again , then re-install
