finalising the components in my new build and looking at graphics cards and mobo's

it will be a single card solution so i was wondering should i go with the x1900xtx or a new 7900GTX. from what i can see the x1900xtx seems cheaper and performs as well in the reviews.

this brings me down to mobo's. i was goign ot get a dfi lanparty with the ati card. should i be going for the new ati chipset mobo (bare in mind i will only be running a single card) i.e will i get any more performance coupling an ati gfx card to an ati based mobo or can i just stick with the lanparty.

also is there any recommendations about what card manufacturer to go for or can i just pick up the cheapest one? the HIS one looks decent atm and i like the look of the different heatsink.

further more is a 530watt tagan psu sufficient for this graphics card and rig set up

regards

Yes the X1900XTX & 7900GTX perform about the same. Wit the X1900XTX being cheaper, they are definitely the cards to get.

The Sapphire XTX card is a good card to get as from early reprtos they are also the best overclockers.

I have read one review which suggested ATI cards do run better on the RD580 chipset than the Nforce 4 chipset with all other components the same. Besides the Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-131-AS) with the new bios is a very nice mobo.

THe 530watt tagan psu will be fine.
