Hi there,

I'm not sure if this is a global issue, or just a misreading, but in both CPU-Z and SP2004, my P4 Prescott 2.8 is showing as it has two cores, as well as in Dxdiag.
Also, I wanted to know the temps that this chip runs at, I've got 38 Idle and 55 Load with a <10 pound cooler, and wanted to know how this faired with other chips.

Is 12.71V on the 12v+ rail good, the PSU is an Antec Smartpower 450W

And finally, being new to overclocking, what is the value that main value that everyone uses in SuperPi?

Thanksyou,
Limehouse.

Those seems about right for the cooler you might have.

Yeah those rails seem fine, Antec is a quality brand.

SuperPi is useful quick stability testing, try doing the 8, 16 or 32 tests.
If you want to do real stability testing try using a program such as sp2004 and orthos.

as far as my reading can ascertain, it is a single core CPU, must be a glitch in Windows etc, but I'm not 100% sure
