My system specs are in my Sig, i play on a 17" monitor(1280x1024, used for desktop and skype) and a 22" monitor (1680x1050, main for games/apps)
1. My Crossfire doesn't seem to be working unless i run a game in full screen (0% activity on the second GPU), is this normal? can i force it to use both GPU's all the time?
2. i think i have a bottleneck somewhere, it all seems to point to the motherboard, but would like confirmation. Playing Rift on Ultra settings im getting between 15-25FPS, the CPU usage is around 30%, the memory usage is around 2GB (25%), and both GPU's seem to be maxing out at around 50% each. Is there anything else i could check to see whats causing it?
If it is my motherboard that is holding me back, would this be suitable instead:
