I wanted to see how my Canon 50mm f1.8 performed in low light and since I was going out for a walk tonight I slung the camera over my shoulder. I didn't take many shots but a few opportunities did present themselves rather unexpectedly. I was walking past a bar when a bagpiper came out and began to play outside in the empty street. Random!
After that I walked down to the station and got a shot of this old 2CV van. IMO it's a bit of an average shot and the reflected light under the "CAFE" sign is quite distracting.
Whilst I was setting up the above shot, two lovely ladies stopped and asked me to take their photo. I was a bit rushed and hence didn't get the camera set up properly so this shot is horribly blurred due to the camera shake. I'm really annoyed because the really flirty one on the right was gorgeous
I wish I could save that one!
So, what do you think? I realise that they are rather uninteresting, I didn't even really put any thought into them to be honest. Is there anything I could do to make them a bit more interesting?
I think the lens performed well considering the light, especially since they were all handheld.
