Hi Guys,

Im going to be sending a monitor soon by post and wanted to find out who would be cost-effective and you would trust to send the monitor and arrive working in one piece...

I need the normal tracking and insurance...

TIA

I thought the same - cant find it on their website - last time I used them I definitely noticed that clause though - have they changed?

Last time i sent a monitor (Samsung 226BW) i used royal mail special delivery. As long as it's packed well you shouldn't have any problems.

Looking at their terms i found the following:

************************

Prohibitions, restrictions and undeliverable items -
There are certain dangerous and hazardous goods which are unsuitable for conveyance by Royal Mail and are therefore prohibited. Items worth more than £2500 are also prohibited. Royal Mail compensation does not cover certain types of goods (pretty vague TBH). Royal Mail reserves the right in certain circumstances to destroy an undeliverable item. If in doubt, please ask at the counter, call on 08457 950950, or check the things we cannot carry.

I use P2G with DHL and ive sent around 50 parcels with them now including monitors to 30" and a shed load of pc gear and amps etc. everythign has gotten there fine and without any problems what so ever.

all of these using their sub £7 cheapest 2-4day service which normally arives next day :)

Interparcel are cheaper than parcel2go normally and you get 5% discount if you create an account.
They use all different couriers an you get to pick which one :)
