Cousin blown up in Spain - need advice

This is my favourite cousin who I grew up with and we were like brothers.
He's in a serious condition and a long way from home.
He has 3 kids who haven't got two pennies to rub together and we need to get them out there to him.
Does anybody know how we can do this through the Foreign/Home Office etc?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for your kind words and offers but theres no need for that.
I come from a very large family of 28 cousins and most of them will donate 50 to £100 each.
However, if we can get this done for nothing through the Foreign Office then all thumbs up.
I honestly thought that some member on here would be working in a similar dept and give me all the answers I needed like every other topic on here but no luck yet.
He was working over there so he didn't have insurance and he lives hand to mouth so theres no bank account.
He's one of lifes wideboys who has done everything in his life and upset a few but we all still love him. We want to get his kids to him.

Just rang the Foreign Office and they said that things are done like this for families who need to see their parents/kids etc but I'm to ring in the morning and ask for the Consular Protection Desk for Spain.

Alcudia blast: rubber tube on cooker had expired in 1994

ACCORDING to initial investigations into the butane gas explosion which injured three people and destroyed a chalet in the port of Alcudia on Monday, the blast was caused by a faulty gas cooker, the rubber tube of which had expired.. Carl Wall, 49, was flown to the special burns unit at the Vall d'Hebron hospital in Barcelona because of the serious nature of his injuries, which included burns to 66 per cent of his body. Yesterday, his condition was reported to be extremely serious but stable.
A hospital spokesman said that he was unconscious and on assisted breathing.
According to the Guardia Civil, Wall rented a room from Linda Feldman and John McGuire, who were released from Son Dureta hospital on Monday.
There was a gas cooker in his room so that he could prepare meals.
The report said that the cooker had not been officially serviced since 1994, and the rubber tube which connected the cooker to the butane gas bottle had expired. It also appears that some repairs had been made to the cooker. It is believed that Wall did not realise that there had been a leak and there was accumulated gas in the room and when he switched on the light, shortly before 9am, there was an explosion, which left him buried in the rubble and badly injured. Only a few walls of the chalet in Calle Perdiu were left standing.
The gas company recommends that installations should be checked every four years.

He's been taken off life support today so things are looking up.

The Foreign Office will not help money wise so thats a bummer.
Plenty of money coming in from my family though.
