Cousin unable to play CS:S help!

My cousin is trying to play CS:S on my computer, but I keep getting this error:

"EasyAntiCheat cannot run if Kernel Patch Protection has been disabled"

Googling around gets me know where.

Anyone have any idea what this is and or how to fix it?

When is the error displayed?

Game startup or when connecting to a server?

Have you tried searching for anti cheat and kernal related things?

Thanks for this, turning on DEP worked. No idea how it got turned off.
