Cousins Lappy

Hi guys!

My younger counsin wiped there lappy and has no drivers cds or idea which hardwares inside the thing so tracking drivers down is proving quite hard all i know is its a "Evesham" and its a widescreen lappy(no model num on it) im trying to get the thing on the web to search for drivers via mshaft but im having no luck finding a network card driver to get on in the first place!.

PS It has some crazy bois with NO options at all!

Any ideas how i can find out what network card driver i need ?D:

I haven't tried the software myself but someone suggested it here

If it works like I imagine it would work then you should be able to work out what drivers to install

In the BIOS itself there should be some mention of what model it is.

only options in bios are! boot select and system time and system password

Is there no heading, title or description in the BIOS itself that shows you what it is? Does it give any codes at all during the POST?

If you boot into windows can you at least tell us the CPU and how much RAM it has. These should be under system properties. It would also be good to tell us the optical drive type and maker as well as the hard drive size and maker. Throw in the screen size (14"/15" etc) and we might be able to hunt it down.
