Coverflow without iTunes...

Is it possible!?!...

Santa bought me an iPod Nano 3G-8Gb for Crimbo (ain't that nice of her!!)..

Anyhew I'm not a fan of iTunes.. especially after it deleted my music collection a few years ago!..

I know Winamp (my personal favorite Music player) handels the iPod nicely with no problems... Transferring music to (and possibly from) my iPod seamlessly!!...

Problem being 'Coverflow' doesn't work like that.. and I like the look of seeing the Album cover in the 'Now playing' screen!...

I stupidly installed itunes (I know!!) and for some reason winamp (5.51) stopped working (99% CPU 33.336Mb Memory).. I un-installed iTunes and Winamp.. Re-installed Winamp and all is hunky-dory!...

So basically I have two questions...

1) is there any other way to get 'Coverflow' working without iTunes???.
2) if not how can I get iTunes to play nicely with Winamp as I'd only have it to Sync with my Nano???..

PS: Is there a way to install iTunes without Quicktime!?.. I prefer QTA as its much smaller!!..

The ml_ipod plugin for Winamo allows the use of Album art, so I'd imagine that'd work with Coverflow.

Still didn't work!... got arround it by installing 'MediaMonkey' music player!.. its sort of a Winamp clone and the Album Art tagging works with 'Coverflow'!.. and because its a winamp clone (looks like an early Skinned Winamp 5) it plays nice with Winamp 5.5 for my playback!!

Just have to re-tag all my folders with a 'folder.jpg' cover art file as I've a few missing!!
