Covid isolation build (£1300ish)

That's really helpful Gray! I didn't realise they would build it up for me - my monitor is a BENQ xl2411p so runs at 144hz. Comfortable with installing windows, I just don't want to spend time building the machine itself.

Wow, thanks for all the advice guys. Really didn't consider the monitor being an issue, will upgrading it make such a material difference? Happy to splash out on a monitor separately (i've got a larger budget than the £1300, but I capped it at around that as I didn't want to spend £100s for marginal gains). My current rig is about 5 years old so whatever I get will be a massive upgrade!

Just about to pull the trigger on the order, and the i7 is out of stock. This is what i'm looking at, quick follow-up questions:

1. Is the below build a good amalgamation of the above (will get monitor seperately)
2. I think I could do with a built in wifi adaptor (currently using a TP link USB pen that is a bit flakey)
3. Do I need a fan for the CPU that isn't stock
4. The below mobo is out of stock, an I presume I can't use the gigabyte mobo with the ryzen cpu? Can you advise another mobo at all or should I wait for it to come back in stock
5. Anything i've missed?

Thanks guys for your massive help! :)

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,166.59 (includes shipping: £11.70)

Hi @orbitalwalsh i'm being dumb - what do you mean by get the Aorus? Can you link it?

Will go for that case and get the fan + cooler.

The crucial ram now looks more expensive (unless I'm looking in the wrong place - is it worth the extra for the 3200 vs 300)?

Thanks! :)

Do you think it worth not use the slim fan / changing the case for the 4 year warranty (seems sensible to me!). When looking at cases i'm not sure what to look for other than aesthetic

I've ordered the PC (thanks guys!) but the motherboard is out of stock :( any suggestions on a decent alternative? I don't want that to be the bottleneck if I can help it! Cheers!
