I must be the only person who thought it looked like utter crap from the trailer. It seems utterly stupid.

Im with von. it looks awful. i saw the trailor at the cinema at weekend- not impressed.

Three thoughts struck me as I watched the trailer. The first was "How the hell did they get the money to make this from what must have been a laughable pitch?". The second was "How on Earth did they get Ford and Craig to do this?". The third was "I'm going to go home and watch Firefly. That's cowboys with spaceships done well."

I thought exactly the same, looks like total dross. Although you never know it just may be so bad it's good.

I saw this today as my 10 year old Nephew wanted to see it. He liked it but I thought it was nothing to write home about.

Boring I'm afraid to say, just glad i watched it on an orange wednesday ... Or i'd have been crying myself to sleep.

Saw this last night... not impressed at all.
Why did they want the gold and why kidnap people in the first place... didn't even explain what they were doing with them.
Glad it was Orange wednesday and not in 3D, would have been even les impressed if I'd payed that much for it.

It had a lot of things going for it, Ford, Craig, Wilde, looked nice, effects were nice....i just walked away feeling very 'meh' afterwards. Wife hated it.
Watched this recently. Was below average, not terrible but felt disjointed with poor pacing.
Probably not worth seeing at the cinema but on the other hand is ok for a bit of fun. I was disappointed though because westerns are one of my favourite genres and despite having aliens in the title, I had some hope for this movie.
The characters seemed to flipflop all over the place which didn't help without much explanation or incite into them.

Enjoyed it myself.
Thought the casting was spot on, the art director nailed it, walked away feeling good.
Not the greatest film, but certainly not so bad either, looked every bit a quality production on screen.
If the film interests you, id say go for the big screen, but iv'e got a feeling the bluray will look stunning if you're prepared to wait it out.
