cpanel / UK hosting

What hosting companies do you folks use with cpanel only please pay monthly. I am looking to migrate my information to a new hosting providor as a personal preference is cpanel and I am currently with fasthosts, which the functionality is alittle less than good.

Personally I use TSOHost, shared hosting starting at £14.99 a year so no need for monthly payments.

TSOhost does look like it does cpanel!

Just signed up with TSO, migrating data over as we speak. Not bad £20.xx for a year with .co.uk name.

OK so far, very fast ftp transfer speeds so far. I was fully transfered to a new domain with backup of sql to new forum within 10 minuits of ordering the hosting package and a .co.uk domain.

I use vidahost and they are the best I've used, their email support has helped me a few times with technical issues and replied within minutes, even at night.

Will have to have a look at TSO as I am after some decent UK hosting soon.
Shame they don't do VPS - there appears to be a shortage of decent UK suppliers of them!

Another vote for Vidahost! Great support. Beansprout is with them (i think) and he responded to my help on these forums

Agreed, they're down to an average of a 4 minute response time now - very impressive.

another vote for vidahost. i will always get hosting with them just for the fantastic speed at which they give support in the very late hours of night and always will. sometimes will need to ask something which takes 5/6 emails to get sorted, if this was with someone else taking 10/20 mintues to reply i would be waiting all night for help but with them the problem is resolved straight away while it's still fresh.

just thought i'd say the problems i speak of aren't to do with vidahost but my own fault and they give loads of help with it.

I've been with them for 2 yrs now. In fact I've built my business with their hosting. Bean's charges are a little more than TSO. I know TSO is cheaper - but Bean has looked after me these 2yrs and always provided help and advice when asked - for these reasons I'll always shop with Vida.

Overall - It depends, if you've only got £15 to spend then I guess TSO - but if you want a hosting that you can build with and has great customer service - for a little more- try Vida.

I personally run my own web hosting company, we use Direct Admin panel for our hosting packages.

Another vote for TSO Host here. Top service and alwasy respond to support questions very quickly. They have cpanel too.
