Hi all,

i upgraded to this over the weekend atm im re-installing apps etc.

Corsair 2GB DDR3 DHX 1333C9DHX Twin3X
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 2.40GHz Guaranteed to run at 3.30GHZ
Asus Maximus Extreme Intel X38 (Socket 775)

I've gone to restore my backup of my steam games etc ( which is on a USB W&D Freeagent Drive) and noticed that my CPU Usage is 100% over all 4 core(s) is that normal ?

You've got quite a few thing's there you could potentionally get rid of actually...

For instance you have Setiathome running twice...You have minirosetta running twice as well, which is a screensaver thing isn't it?

I'd go through msconfig.exe via run, and have a look at what starts up with the PC, and turn off thing's that are not actually needed. Just don't untick EVERYTHING :p

If you don't know what something is, look via google. Do you really need stuff like Gnotify etc running

your pc will function m8 , even if you untick everything in the start up folder.....thats what its there for ;)

Well, yes it'll function, but if you don't want your AV starting up, or certain parts of your control panel for your graphics card, then yeah...Untick em all :p
