I was thinking of buying:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - OEM

I currently have a DFI LanParty UT nF4 Ultra-D motherboard and Athlon 64 3700+


If I buy the new processor will everything work well? and how do I remove my old processor? also will it be a good upgrade? as I have a nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 640MB graphics card
