would this cooler be worth getting noctua NH-D15 chromax.black, 140mm dual-tower CPU cooler (Black), got problems with games shutting pc down, also changing my case to be quite 600,

If you're getting 112C in games there's something wrong.

Are you using the stock cooler or a third party? Although even if it's the stock you shouldn't be hitting that high, could be a mounting problem?

It'd still help to know the rest of your specifications.

You shouldn't be getting over 95c as the CPU will throttle down.
Try using hwinfo to record temps while gaming.

I would recommend reseating your heatsink and reapplying thermal paste, be sure to clean off the existing when doing so on both the CPU and HSF.

The stock cooler shouldn't be performing that poorly, I'm surprised it's happening at all as it should throttle.

i will try the new case first see if that helps, which thermal do you recommend i have never used one paste was al-ready on the cpu.

looking at the case I would say the airflow could be better, the front fan placement isnt in the best place to get cool air to the CPU. I'd put another couple of case fans in to increase the airflow through the case.

thanks grimlley do you mean the new case bequite 600, or the one im using now? thanks

The BeQuiet 600 has pretty subpar cooling as well. I would go with something with better airflow i.e Fractal Meshify C.

i needed to have the optical drive bay, that is one of the reasones i picked the 600,hope the extra fan helps

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro M has a 5.25" bay and has a mesh front. Out of stock though at the minute. Also you could go with a cheaper cooler as the D15 is overkill for an R5 3600. The Scythe Mugen ones are good for the money.
