CPU AMD RYZEN 3600

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro M has a 5.25" bay and has a mesh front. Out of stock though at the minute. Also you could go with a cheaper cooler as the D15 is overkill for an R5 3600. The Scythe Mugen ones are good for the money.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £197.23 (includes shipping: £12.30)
Even something like an arctic freezer would be perfectly fine for the 3600 and even a 3700x.

just checking my pc for the shut down prob ...knob question should the fan on the psu be running when the pc is up and running?

The fan will only start up once the psu reaches a certain load like 40% so this is perfectly normal behaviour.

Did you try reseating the CPU cooler as if the CPU gets to hot then it will shutdown for protection.

didnt try reseating yet...psu fan still not spining even though the gpu fan started .psu warm noe sitting in game

playing it now still no fan on psu
You would need to be pulling 300+w from the psu for the fans to start up and just gaming with a rx590 and 3600 is probably going to be a little bit under that. running a stress test that taxes both the cpu and gpu should put you over this though even at full beans your system wont be drawing over 400w.

thanks for that joxeon can you recommend a stress test that would do both thanks

The stock cooler does a fine job unless you plan on really pushing the CPU and overclocking

you can't really overclock AMD. they are built to just work and it takes crazy volts to get anything out of them.

some have gotten lucky but that is 1 in 10,000 rather than the norm. i wouldn't bother wasting my time trying to overclock them.
