i have just stripped and sold the system in my sig...

now the system played all the games i play fine and maxed most of them out, but i feel it was time to move on. now this will be an upgrade done over a few pay days.

Today i would like CPU and motherboard advice. i have had a long hard talk with my self and decided the intel in the way foreword for me, but i dont know what to use 1150 or 1155?

i will only buy a NEW cpu as they slow over time when over clocked and i just want to know mine is fresh, but with mother board the 1155 top end board are selling very cheap used when is the difference in performance on a K chip 1155 to 1150

so i can get a basic board and 1150 chip or a top end board and 1155 chip for the same price what should i do?

+1 to above.
There is no point in investing into 1155 anymore.
1150 is mainstream now and you can get some very nice deals, as you can see above.

with is the performance difference 3570K --> 4690K
i see a lot of ppl saying the new gen of 1150 cpu's are a 0% upgrade over the older 1150 cpus and are a down grade when it comes to over clocking how do they stand upto a 1155

Go with socket 1150 as your buying new, these are quicker than the 3570 and offer some future upgradability.
