Cpu and motherboard for £200

My mate wants to upgrade he's pc ! Has a old q6600 cpu and a Asus p5k mobo ! He also has a gtx 660ti! Would there be a good cpu and mobo combo for £200 or just over primary for gaming thanks

Yea i5 4690 is the way to go, personally though I'd grab a cheap H97 motherboard.
