Can anyone help please. Got an Asus z370-a with a kraken x62. I have just changed all 5 standard fans to deepcool rgb fans. Everything is working but idle temp rises to 80c straight away on boot and pc freezes. Everything seems to be plugged in correctly, cooler lights up. Could the pump of just gone faulty? Cam is showing the pump spinning at 5k rpm but i can't really feel any vibration, just a slight whine Everything was perfect before. Thanks.

Its 18 months old. No i havent reseated it. I just changed the fans. Could it be a faulty cooler even though its spinning? I did lower the radiator to fit the fans. Could it be air in the system?

Unlikely to be air. Rock the PC while its on and any trapped bubbles should move.
Do you have a flow meter? Or even able to see fluid moving into your reservoir or something. It sounds like the pump to be, bit its strange the PC is reporting it at 5,000RPM.

Apparently Krakens are common for not lasting very long. I will try for air tomorrow. If no air i will have to order another cooler. Any recommendations for a cooler?
