CPU at stock

Hi there , I,m looking at these 2 CPU'S and wanted to know which is the best at stock ,no overclocking ?
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) &
Amd Athlon 64 X2 Dual-core Processor 5200+ 2.6 Ghz 2mb L2 Cache

My rule of thumb is thus:

if in doubt - conroe

Seems to work
