CPU backplate?

Hey guys,

My CPU backplate has broke but struggling to find anywhere decent to get hold of one. Strange that OCUK don't seem to stock socket 1155 backplates. Anyone know where I can get hold of one?

Am i wrong? thought this was called a backplate. its just the stock one. And I have no idea how it broke. Just opened my case yesterday and its got a snap on one of the 4 legs

You've broken one of the fittings on the CPU cooler backplate not the CPU socket backplate (which is the silver coloured one you can see underneath).

I wasn't sure which one you meant.

You'll likely have to contact the manufacturer of the cooler for a replacement.

Look on fleebay,I've seen 1155 universal backplates for around £3

Only ones from Hong Kong which take 20 days to deliver :/

I havnt seen any in UK,could ask in member market/wanted? Just order it and use Intel cooler while your waiting?

Could do. Just found it a little weird that there isnt many universal ones for sale
