CPU benching LOW?

MY pentium D 945 is benching lower than a 820 in sisandra 2005, it's a really poor score

I have a DUAL-VSTA mobo with the latest 2.2 BIOS update and drivers, 1MB of DDR2 RAM.

Any ideas why it's so crud?

What speed do you have the ram running at? Check its not running really slow. Get it to run at its rated speed at least - check bios.

Tried it on 667mhz, then set to auto, same result.

on second thoughts, scores probably wont be that good with 1MB of ram whatever cpu you have. - need to invest in some more.

Well yes, but it's not even close to the benchmarks results for a 820 (2.8ghz) with the same RAM

Are both cores recognised in windows? Do you have a lot of junk running in the background etc?

Yeah windows sees 3.4, 3.42 on the system window.

What do I have running, nothing, just the benchmark program.
