My current system at present is WC via a 480 Thermaltake Rad, DC4 Pump, ek 150ml Res and an EK Supreme HF cpu Block.
This is all cooling my i5 3570k ivy bridge cpu at a mild OC of 4.2 and keeps it under 60c even under full cpu load.
I have bought my self a new case in the form of a Enthoo Primo and will be transffering my Rig to it in the near future, however as part of my planned upgrades im looking at getting an i7 6700k cpu, mobo and some DDR4.
Im looking to find out if my current CPU Block will firstly mount on a 1151 skt mobo with the same mounting hardware i have at present, and secondly will this cpu block i have currently allow me to OC on the new CPu and if so what sort of speed could i expect to see and possible full load temps with my current WC Loop.
N.B i will be mounting the Rad in the roof of the enthoo however this time i will be employing a push pull air flow system on it as apposed to the pull air flow im using with it currently. As a matter of course im replacing all the tubing, connections and Res when transfering the loop into the new case, the only parts of the loop which will be reused are the rad,the pump and the CPU Block.
