pretty sure the answer is yes.. but i have a 3500 Venice i run at 2.53Ghz sometimes but am pretty sure its bottlenecking my system. i run 1GB OCZ DDR and a 7800GTX @ 490/1.32. i have an evo33 heatsink and fan and havnt fitted it for some reason. been using the stock amd cooler . would i see more overclocking potential with the 33 over amd cooler?

cheers,
naffa

Can't see it being that much of a bottleneck @ 2.5ghz, but adding the aftermarket cooler would be a good idea.

What speed is the ram at, if it's at 1T then you will see a performance increase by running a divider and having the ram timings at about 2-3-2-5.

e.g. ram @ 250mhz 3-4-4-8 will be slower than 200mhz @ 2-3-2-5
