CPU bottleneck

Currently running the following

Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary
Asus B85M-G Motherboard
GeForce GTX 960 2GB

When playing dying light I'm getting freezing for a few seconds. Not sure if it's just badly coded or if my system isn't up to it.

Any ideas?

I have 8 gig of ram

Thats odd because It's currentl yoverclocked to 3.8 ghz

That program isn't installed so guessing it's been done by the BIOS

To be honest everything else I've tried has been fine but it's not as graphically intensive as dying light.

Can anyone suggest what sort of OC I can expect to get from this chip or if I should just give up and stick an i5 in.

Managed to get the CPU to 4.1ghz last night

Game is much better now. Currently using an https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-100-AK&tool=3

Will probably push it to 4.4 over th weeekend.
