CPU bottlenecking memory?

8gb of 1600 DDR3 RAM
MSI Z68A-GD65
Radeon 5770

If you are right I feel so stupid

Well it is only using 36% physical memory.
It's quite possible it could use more if your CPU wasn't being maxed oyr.

Are you new to computers? The OS will only give the program the resources it asks for - in this case 100% of CPU time and a much smaller % of memory.
