Somehow I got a tiny bit of thermal paste on the bottom of the CPU (don't ask how I have no clue) what should I use to wipe it off?

What kind of thermal paste? If it's ceramic based it's not conductive and therefore not a worry. Careful use of Q-tip and alcohol will do the job. If it's Arctic Silver (which is conductive) then you'll have to make sure you get it all off any electrical contacts. Again, solvent like alcohol (isopropyl) will do - but you need to be thorough.

Pop it in a washing machine, that'll do the trick. ;)

Seriously though, I would use some kind of alcoholic solvent or TIM cleaner found easily in PC shops, nail varnish might get you in trouble from your mummy. :p
